SHIMLA - THE QUEEN OF HIMALYAS

Shimla(capital of Himachal Pradesh) also known as the queen of the Himalayas. The luscious green color of its mountains makes this queen more beautiful. There are many places to visit in Shimla like the Ridge, jakhoo hill, Mall road, etc. The toy train (narrow gauge train) is an add-on to the place. It runs from kalka to shimla.The concept of a toy train is very interesting The Kalka-Shimla Railway is a 2 ft 6 inches narrow-gauge railway in India that traverses a mostly mountainous route from Kalka to Shimla. Shimla (at that time called Simla), which was inhabited by the British shortly after the First Anglo-Gurkha War, is located at an altitude of 2169 m in the foothills of the Himalayas.

01. THE RIDGE

The ridge is especially famous for its nightlife, shopping, and dining. It is connected with every other major spot such as the mall road, the scandal bazaar, and The LakkarBazaar.The neogothic style of worship (neogothic style is the architectural style of worship born in the middle of the 18th century in England) is also practiced here.

02. The Mall Road

Mall Road in Shimla is the broadest road and it has a beautiful state library, the oldest church (known as the Christ church) and the market for shopping (The Kullu shall is the most tempted item to buy here), The famous Jakhoo temple is also located at the top of mall road.

03. Green Valley

The green valley is the most beautiful place to visit. Most of the Bollywood movie shooting has been done here. The Luscious green color of the mountains makes this place a place to explore.

04. KUFRI

Located above 12 km from Shimla Kufri is famous for its snow (in winters snow height reaches up to 10 feet). Many adventurous activities like skiing, tube slide, zip life Burma beach are available here and make this place more tempestuous to visit.

06. HIMALAYAN BIRD PARK

Located near Advanced university, the Himalayan bird park is the most beautiful park, it contains 48 types of Himalayan birds, various types of the peacock,s and other birds It's a beautiful place to explore nature.

08. CHADWICK FALL

Located on the foothills of Shimla Chadwick Falls is the most beautiful fall here, a must to visit the place because of its dense forests, and greenery here, you will see different species of monkeys like  Langoors and many more.
